Inspired by a Black Mirror episode called Hotel Reverie, I recreated scenes from Charade, The Stranger, Night of the Living Dead, and Metropolis using Vidu AI character references. This is a fun way to illustrate how AI character reference tools help create consistent characters and consistent sets. I'm using the characters from public domain movies for educational purposes and to provide a little social commentary about the current state and future of AI filmmaking.
