He left college with a higher vocational diploma in crop technology and management. He quickly settled on a career in the seed sector, initially working in the lab before moving into production facilities. He joined Axereal in 2018. Today, he’s in charge of seed production – the part of the business where we receive, sort and package seed. As well as working on the production site, Yann also goes out into the farmers’ fields to check the crops. The main challenge for Yann and his teams is to ensure that farmers receive good quality seed, to the agreed timescales. For this role, you have to be methodical, dedicated and a good team player.
