Trackside: Freights & The XPT at Albury, Henty, The Rock, Cootamundra & Cootamundra West- 20/10/24

Video from the 20th of October 2024 on the drive from Albury to Cootamundra, only a couple of hundred kilometres but with a few trains caught along the way, beginning before we leave Albury with Aurizon's 6BM1 led by ACD6055 and ACD6052. From there the next stop is at Henty for triple NR's on 7SM2 and then The Rock for triple QL's on 7WM7 steel. We then call into Cootamundra station and have a look at what was in the yard before the southbound XPT arrives with XP2019 and XP2008 working ST23, followed by CF4423, QE006 and CF4421 on 9315 QUBE grain to Junee. That evening we see a couple of trains at Cootamundra West with 8124 and 8144 on 3332 grain from Temora BFB and NR9, NR37 and NR104 on 7YN2 steel after the sun had disappeared for the day. Trains seen in order are: 6BM1- ACD6055 and ACD6052 7SM2- NR39, NR121 and NR55 7WM7- QL006, QL019 and QL008 9315- CF4423, QE006 and CF4421 3332- 8124 and 8144 7YN2- NR9, NR37 and NR104 Enjoy the video?
