(9 Sep 2018) SETTLEMENT REACHED OVER LIL WAYNE'S  METAL DETECTOR REFUSAL Concert promoters say they've reached a settlement with rapper Lil Wayne, who refused to go through a metal detector for a scheduled concert last year in South Carolina. Attorney Joe McCulloch tells the Post and Courier of Charleston that settlement terms won't be released. Promoter All for One's lawsuit had called for the return of Lil Wayne's $65,000 advance, plus its concert costs and legal fees from the Fall Ball last September at Colonial Life Arena in Columbia. According to court documents, the New Orleans-born rapper's representatives agreed to the screening but Lil Wayne refused to enter the arena because of the metal detector.   Promoters said they suffered ``ongoing public criticism and humiliation'' that damaged relationships within the music industry. Cardi B, 2 Chainz and Tory Lanez performed as scheduled.
