Every year during the winter break my desire to get back on track and record some raw action from pre-season testing grows more and more. And it seems 2024 has started in a superlative way as I found my favorite weather conditions for the first Kateyama test day of the year at Misano Wolrd Circuit. Wet track means more powerslides, traction control noises and lot of water spray which allows you to visualize the work of aerodynamics. Not many teams took part at this two-days session but there was an interesting variety of cars with some GT3-class machines, a Supra GT4 EVO, a new Maserati MC20 GT2 and the MCXtrema, Maserati's 740 hp track-only toy recorded in action on track for the first time!
