Haryana IPS Officer's Suicide: Cremation Today After Family Relents Over Post-Mortem | India Today

This special report focuses on the developments following the death of Haryana IPS officer Y. Puran Kumar, who died by suicide on October 7. According to our correspondent, 'it's a 9th day that there was no post-mortem or cremation that was conducted and it was building pressure for the Haryana government as well that in 9 days there's no conclusion and big action was demanded'. Following a court notice, the officer's family, including his wife Amneet P. Kumar, has consented to the post-mortem, with the cremation scheduled for today.
