Mahler, Symphony No 5; Sibelius/Noteperformer virtual performance video score

Created using Sibelius music notation software (Version 7.1.3 First) and the Noteperformer 3 sounds engine, arranged for 16 staves, the maximum allowed for this version of Sibelius. The work requires a huge orchestra, so it was necessary to make simplifications. In particular, divisi parts for Woodwind, Brass and Violins were combined as voices on single staves. Piccolo was 'played' on the flute stave (octave up). Cymbals, side drum, bass drum, triangle and wood blocks were 'played' on the single stave of the Rock Drum Set ( a bizarre thought). (The poor little Triangle struggles to be heard!) For the Tam-Tam I used the Gamelang Gong Ageng from 'World Instruments'.
