All my advice is geared towards making sure when you walk into audition rooms you are not begging or morphing into what these schools want. I give these specific advice so that you develop your own reason as to why you MUST get your masters in acting. Hopefully they will save you the 2 years it took me. I also invited my cohort member Mazvita Chanakira. She is a graduate of Pace University’s BFA acting program and came to Columbia University’s MFA Acting program straight from undergrad. I give advice as someone who wasn’t an acting major (purple text) And Maz give advice as someone who was an acting major (orange text) Super excited for this video and I hope you all enjoy it! Extra advice: stay focused don’t get distracted by people telling you acting isn’t a career. do not under estimate the power of meditation, prayer and reasoning. Acting is not a pretty career. When it’s all said and done you should be bruised, dirty, alive with the worlds biggest smile on your face!
