What’s New in This Model? ====================== This is the ultimate parametric model for this iPhone dock. I know, that's presumptuous, but here’s why I'm claiming it: ✓ Universal Compatibility: Works for any iPhone from the 12 Mini to the 16 Pro Max, with or without a case. ✓ Perfect 3mm Border: Retains the iconic 3mm border from Scott Yu-Jan & OVERWERK’s original design, no matter the phone size. ✓ Fully Parametric: All adjustments can be made in the parameters box in Fusion 360—no hunting through the timeline or breaking the model. ✓ Stress-Tested: Handles sizes up to 400mm wide before cracking under pressure (not that you’ll need it that big—and if you try, change it slowly, lol). ✓ Minimal Edits Required: The only manual adjustment? Shift the “Clicker” if it needs to be taller or shorter—and that’s it! BONUS ====================== ❖ Version 4 Updates: Every iPhone model from 11 to 16 Pro Max is being re-made and re-uploaded with the perfect 3mm border. You don’t even need to open Fusion 360 if you don’t want to! How to Customize (Fusion 360 Parameters) ====================== This video walks you through it, but here’s a cheat sheet for the parameters you can change in Fusion 360: phonelength: Enter your phone’s length with clearance. phonewidth: Enter your phone’s width with clearance. phonethicknessdepth: Input your phone or case thickness—an extra 1mm cushion is added automatically. phonecornerradius: Adjust the corner radius in the timeline if needed, then input the final number here. magsafediameter: Two MagSafe diameters (55.5mm and 55.9mm). Add clearance (e.g., 56.35mm for Scott’s default). magsafedepth: MagSafe thickness (4.37mm or 5.3mm). Apple recommends no clearance; adjust here as needed. For the Drawer Model: draweroffset: Adjust for a tighter or looser fit. drawerthickness: Change the thickness of the drawer walls for a lighter or sturdier design.
