"The TRIPS Agreement Laid Bare: Learning the lessons of COVID-19 to improve access to health technologies", is a new policy paper that provides an account of the history of the TRIPS agreement and TRIPS flexibilities, their evolution, and the lessons learnt from the efforts to ensure a more equitable access to health technologies During this event, we gauged the impact of intellectual property on access to health technologies and what can be done to address the shortcomings of the current IP protection system when preparing for future health emergencies.
