How I prevented another bloody clash between Farmers and Fulani herdsman

During my return from one of the training I did for Fulani communities on Hydroponics fodder production, I drove into an uproar between farmers and Fulani herdsman accused of destroying two hectares of Cassava farm. I hurriedly stopped to settle the pandemonium before it turned bloody. Despite the plea, these warriors were not ready to surrender without a fight, as the herdsman insisted on his innocence while the farmers maintained that he was guilty. After much persuasion, they surrendered their weapons to me. I then led the team back to the farm for investigation and discovered dry cow dung from the cattle that destroyed the farm. We all concluded that this could not have been those of the accused who recently herded along the route. Based on available evidence, I declared the accused free and took further steps to get justice for the farmer by telling him to hide in a nearby bush for the true culprit who is bound to return with his herds to complete the destruction. As planned, the true culprit was apprehended and handed over to the Police. There is a lot for every stakeholders to do in achieve food security with bloodshed
