#calgary #drivingtour #calgaryalberta New and exciting in Calgary Alberta Canada The West Calgary Ring Road (WCRR), running between Highway 8 and the Trans-Canada Highway, is the final section needed to complete the Calgary Ring Road. The entire Calgary Ring Road will provide more than 100 kilometres (km) of free-flow travel around the city, improving access to hospitals, schools, workplaces and recreation, and reducing congestion within the city. Stoney Trail ring road that’s been under construction for four years is set to open for traffic early next month, according to the province. When vehicles begin to flow both ways between 16th Avenue and Bow Trail S.W., the completion of the 101-kilometre ring road encircling the city will be another step closer to reality. Eastbound and westbound travel on Bow Trail between 85th Street and 101st Street will open in early October, with motorists able to access the newly opened, four-kilometre section of the north-south Stoney Trail ring road between the Trans-Canada Highway and Bow Trail S.W. 0:00 East on Trans-Canada Highway to Stoney Trail 0:44 Stoney Trail South onramp from 16th Ave NW 1:54 Driving up the hill on Stoney Trail SW 2:47 Old Banff Coach Road Turn off 3:42 Exit on Bow Trail SW 4:50 Driving East on Bow Trail from Stoney Trail 9:34 Turning Right on Sarcee trail from Bow Trail going South 9:43 Southbound on Sarcee Trail SW #newroads #ringroad #albertacanada #alberta #highway #transcanadahighway #opening #highwaydriving
