Dragon Quest I & II HD-2D Remake DQ2 Playthrough | Part 6: Turmoil at Rippleport We got the Windbreaker. Now we have a means to reach our next destination, Rippleport. Before that, we have to enter a pair of towers: the Dragon's Horns. There are two of them and each of them have items we need to find. We first go through the South Tower and at the top, we use the Windbreaker to reach the other side. Once that's done we go through the North Tower. Afterwards, we head for Rippleport. Turns out there's some trouble. Essentially much of the townspeople are under the entrancing of a nun and her Merchant assistant. Apparently, she swayed the folks on hoping to find happiness. We all know that's full of garbage, so we head for the Shrine North of Rippleport. We confront these two and it turns out they are nothing but frauds. And they're monsters to boot so we got to put them down. You face off against a group of monsters that can prove to be very troubling. The biggest threat is the Mummy Dearest as he can hit hard. Focus on buffing your party then bring the pain. The Gremlins should go down first because they can heal. Afterwards, deal with the Twisted Sister. This thing loves using magic to screw you over. But bear in mind, the Mummy Dearest can hit hard and that can be a problem. As long as you keep buffing, healing and attacking, you'll do fine. Once they are dealt with, return back to Rippleport and speak to the Mayor and Port Manager. They thank us for our efforts, so we spend the night at the inn. It's then they hear a voice telling us to journey across the sea. The next day, the Port Manager tells us that we got a ship of our own. If you're wondering, don't worry... I get this rectified.
