江戸東京たてもの園は、文化的価値の高い歴史的建造物を移築し、復元・保存・​展示する野外博物館です。 二・二六事件で暗殺された政治家・高橋是清の邸宅、大正時代に伊達侯爵家(旧宇和島藩伊達家)が白金三光町に建てた屋敷の表門など有名なものから、江戸時代の農家、明治・大正時代の個人邸などが移設されています。 昔の商家・銭湯・居酒屋などを復元して町並みを再現したエリアでは下町の風情を楽しむことができます。 復元した建物は内部も観覧が可能で、当時の暮らしや商売の道具・商品などを見ることも出来ます。 今回はそんな江戸東京たてもの園を散歩してみました。 The Edo-Tokyo Open Air Architectural Museum is an open-air museum where historic buildings of high cultural value are relocated, restored, preserved and exhibited. From famous things such as the residence of politician Takahashi Korekiyo, who was assassinated in the February 26 Incident, and the front gate of the mansion built by the Date Marquis (formerly the Date clan of the Uwajima Domain) in Shirokane Sankocho in the Taisho period, to the Edo period. Farmers and private residences from the Meiji and Taisho eras have been relocated. You can enjoy the atmosphere of downtown in the area that recreates the townscape by restoring old merchant houses, public baths, and izakaya. The interior of the restored building can also be viewed, and you can also see the tools and products of life and business at that time.
