When old mine tries to swallow a town - The story of Trzebinia

So we heard stories about the place where there was some coal mine in the past, and now in more and more places ground Is collapsing. It sounded interesting enough that we decided to make our own investigation, especially after seeing some quite attractive photos and videos in internet. And here we are. The city name is Trzebinia, and it’s located in south of Poland. There was indeed a coal mine here, and after liquidation nobody really secured the site. No surprise that quite soon first sinkholes appeared. Today there are hundreds of them. We were hoping for a real adventure, but, imagine that, the most exiting holes are getting filled quite quickly, and what was left for us was to try and find little bit older and more hidden ones.
