His work often blends traditional Assyrian melodies with elements of folk and soft rock, creating a unique and emotive sound that resonates with audiences worldwide.  • Joan “Bulbul” David Joan David, affectionately known as “Bulbul,” was born in Baghdad and raised in Chicago.
