Rival Flight (Australia) Bewildered Beyond Hope of Remembrance (2001) post-rock, slowcore The sole release from the Gold Coast post-rock/slowcore band Rival Flight. Issued in a gatefold digipack sleeve, this CD package contains the only surviving recordings from the Queensland group before their untimely dissolving in the early 2000s. The band was reportedly never quite satisfied with the final recordings, and so, years later, they would attempt to rerecord this EP, along with some new material. Unfortunately, the engineer whom they were working with up and vanished, taking the bands efforts along with him. Following that, the band broke up for good.
