This video is a collection of clips from 2022/06 to 2023/02, with a few clips from even earlier. Some clips during the farewell are provided by other people. The moment has finally come for the MTR Phase 2 Light Rail vehicles to retire completely on 2023/02/26. Why not retire the phase 1 LRVs first? Because they got refurbished between 2011 and 2013 and phase 2 LRVs didn't get the treatment. In the past 2 years, all 30 cars of phase 2 LRVs were replaced by new phase 5 LRVs. The last 4 cars of phase 2 LRVs formed two 2-car sets to operate the farewell trip. This is the only LRT vehicle in Hong Kong made by a Japanese manufacturer and served the northwest of Hong Kong for 30 years since 1992/10/28.
