Lamahatta and Tinchuley Darjeeling These are breathtaking places located approximately 23 km away from Darjeeling. It took us only an hour to reach as the road conditions are good. The best part is that we got to see Kanchenjunga Mountain for the first time in Darjeeling as it's winter, and we really got lucky. Lamahatta ECO Park is the first spot you will reach, but we decided to start our tour from Lovers Meet View Point to see the confluence of the two rivers Teesta and Rangeet. This is followed by Peshok Tea Estate as both are located nearby. Once we were done with the 2 spots, we drove up towards Gumbadara View Point and Tinchuley View Point and were blown away by the view of the entire valley. You will see a narrow road across the entire valley, and the view looks magnificent from up top. Lastly, we visited the Lamahatta Eco Park, which is quite large in size, and it has a trek to a sacred pond, which is approximately 750 meters, however it was closed by the time we reached but I was already satisfied by just looking at the view and the pine trees all around.
