Salam Ruma Lovers, Today I have for you a summer treat that you can enjoy on a hot sunny day. Papaya may not be everyone's favorite but made into a sorbet can change your mind. So enjoy making this and let me know in the comments below how you liked it! Papaya Sorbet 1 cup plain yogurt 1 ½ tbsp honey 2 tbsp freshly squeezed orange juice 1 whole banana 2 cups papaya, cubed Directions: 1. In a blender, add yogurt, honey, orange juice, banana, and papaya. Blend till smooth. 2. Put in an airtight glass container. Then place in the freezer for 1-2 hours. 3. After 1-2 hours take the container out of the freezer and mix the sorbet. Then place it back into the freezer for another 1-2 hours. 4. After 1-2 hours mix again, and keep continuing the process till you like the consistency. You can also put the sorbet into a blender to mix for the 1-2 hour intervals rather than hand mixing yourself. We did both ways. I prefer blending the sorbet since it will give you a smoother consistency. 5. It took about 8-10 hours to get the consistency of how we like it. At the end when you take the sorbet out of the freezer let it thaw for 30-40 minutes. Then you can scoop it and enjoy!
