https://europe.gc.dental/products/too... and https://europe.gc.dental/products/mip... Tutorial, instructions for use on the application of MI Tooth Mousse and MI Paste Plus from GC. GC Tooth Mousse contains RECALDENT™* (CPP-ACP: Casein Phosphopeptide - Amorphous Calcium Phosphate). When CPP-ACP is applied in the oral environment, it will bind to biofilms, plaque, bacteria, hydroxyapatite and soft tissue localising bio-available calcium and phosphate. To treat sensitive teeth, white spot lesions (especially due to orthodontics), hypomineralization (MIH), mild fluorosis, erosion, between bleaching / whitening sessions, xerostomia; for pedodontics, geriodontics and special care dental patients. Spread a generous layer of GC Tooth Mousse / MI Paste Plus for a minimum of 3 minutes. Instruct the patient to use the tongue to spread the remaining GC Tooth Mousse / MI Paste Plus throughout the mouth. Instruct the patient to retain for as long as possible (1 - 2 minutes) avoiding expectoration and delaying swallowing. The longer GC Tooth Mousse / MI Paste Plus and saliva are maintained in the mouth, the more effective the result. Ask the patient to expectorate and if possible avoid rinsing. Any GC Tooth Mousse / MI Paste Plus remaining on the surface can be left to gradually dissipate. Advise the patient not to eat or drink for 30 minutes following application. At home application application can be recommended under supervision by a dental professional. The overnight use of MI Paste Plus containing fluoride is especially recommended for high-risk adult patients, but not recommended for children under 12. MI Tooth Mousse and MI Paste Plus are part of the minimal intervention dentistry and caries prevention strategies. Other related products are MI Paste Plus and MI Varnish. CPP-ACP was developed at the School of Dental Science, University of Melbourne Victoria / Australia. RECALDENT™ is used under licence from Recaldent™ Pty. Limited. RECALDENT™ CPP-ACP is derived from milk casein, and should not be used on patients with milk protein and/ or hydroxybenzoates allergies.
