CR & FC were crowned champions of the Inter-Club Rugby League after edging past Kandy Sports Club 23–21 in a thrilling Cup Final played in Colombo. Kandy SC led 14–7 at halftime, but CR & FC produced a spirited second-half comeback with three tries, two conversions, and a crucial penalty to secure the title. The trophy was presented by Sports Minister Sunil Kumara Gamage in the presence of senior officials and dignitaries.
