US President Donald Trump claimed that countries in the Middle East expressed their interest in militarily entering Gaza to "straighten out Hamas," in a Tuesday Truth Social post. "Numerous of our NOW GREAT ALLIES in the Middle East, and areas surrounding the Middle East, have explicitly and strongly, with great enthusiasm, informed me that they would welcome the opportunity, at my request, to go into GAZA with a heavy force and 'straighten out Hamas' However .... The New York Times reported that countries that could make up Trump's proposed international peace force in Gaza are expressing hesitation at sending troops out of fear of clashes with Hamas. ... Two diplomats told the NYT that Indonesia, Egypt, Turkey, and Azerbaijan were among the proposed countries. It's understandable that countries would not send their soldiers into Gaza without a clear mandate. They do NOT want their people to get into firefights with Hamas. Indeedl, putting together this security force is easier said than done. Let’s see who, if anyone, will step up. Headline 2 Hamas still has up to 20,000 fighters, lost 90% of rockets and production sites (YNET) Since the IDF’s pullback to the 'yellow line,' Hamas terrorists have reemerged in Gaza’s streets, seeking to project normalcy while publicly executing suspected collaborators... ... it has been estimated that between 70% and 80% of Hamas’s tunnel network in Gaza remains intact, with many of the tunnels still unknown to the IDF. These figures, to the say the least, are worrisome....This certainly does not bode well for those hoping Hamas will soon, or even eventually, disarm. Headline 3 Iranian Hardliners Launch 'New Islamic Civilization Party' to Tighten Control After War with Israel (JFEED) Amid intense rivalries following the recent war with Israel and renewed international sanctions, Iranian hardliners have unveiled a new political organization: the New Islamic Civilization Party. The party held its founding congress in Tehran this past week, marking a concerted effort by conservative elements to solidify their control and advance a radical ideological agenda.
