Conway Roundhouse In the heart of North Conway, New Hampshire, sits an 1874 yellow victorian building, the home of the Conway Scenic Railroad. With the tracks being laid in 1872 for the Portsmouth, Great Falls & Conway Railroad which was established a year earlier in 1871. It was absorbed into the Boston & Maine in 1890, they renamed the line between Dover and Mountain Junction the "Conway Branch". The sounds of steam engines filled the valley for decades. Sadly, when the dieselization era came into play, that went away in the mid 1950s. But today, January 2nd, 2021, we will get to experience the whistles and chuffing in Mt.
