Please join us for an open and honest conversation about imagining and creating relationships and sexual connection beyond the rigid boundaries of societal norms and expectations. This conversation is an inquiry: a shared exploration of our own process of unlearning unquestioned paradigms—like monogamy—getting in touch with our deepest truths, and trying to live in alignment with our values. Like so many of us, we are two people who dutifully followed the course laid out for us: pursuing careers, getting married, having children. But something didn’t feel right: a nagging sense that the path given to us by society might not be the right path for us. In our own ways we have each gone on intentional journeys to reconnect with the erotic, to reconceive what it means to be in relationship, and to try to co-create new ways of relating, connecting, and exploring intimacy that are more aligned with our deepest truths. This is about reclaiming our right to pleasure, to choice, to agency. It’s about seeking interdependence… and belonging. It’s about living more embodied and authentic lives.
