11pm Update- Jefferson County Oregon Sheriff has expanded the second Level-3 (Go Now) evacuation zone South to the Whychus Creek and NFD Rd. 1393. A series of Level 1 (Be Ready), Level-2 (Be Set) and Level-3 (Go Now) evacuation notices are currently in effect for this 600+ acre fire that continue to grow to the Southwest from Geneva Rd. -------------------- During the 7pm hour, Acreage was updated to 200ac and new evacuation notifications were added, As of 7:55pm the Jefferson County Oregon Sheriff has added another Level-3 (Go Now) evacuation to the Raptor map. This includes Geneva, west of Geneva/SW Squaw Flat road. There are also more Level-1 (Be Ready) evacuation zones added, East/South of Geneva up to the Whychus Creek. We will remain very dry, winds taper after sunset and areas of reduced to poor air quality are expected for parts of Central Oregon, tonight. ---------------- The #FlatFire continues to burn west of Culver. The last report from fire officials was at 5:4pm That put this fire at 100 acres and it looks to still be growing from fire detection cameras in the area. Since then officials tell us that a Type-3 Incident Management team has been ordered to the Flat Fire in Jefferson county.
