Words of Comfort: The God of All Comfort

A recent news article said: It is very likely that the first 10 years of this century will go down as the most dispiriting and disillusioning decade Americans have lived through in the post World War II era. It was a decade that demonstrates the reality that we live in a fallen world. But even if we read the headlines now, in a new decade, we see that difficulties and suffering were not confined to the last decade, but are still with us. So it seemed timely to us, to do a short series that helps each of us draw comfort from the gospel for our souls. A vital part of living the Christian life for every one of us is knowing, in moments of trial, how to draw strength and encouragement and comfort from the gospel.
