Before his immortal portrayal of Delta House frat man "Otter" and before his twice Emmy-nominated part on "West Wing" as the Vice President, but after his role as one of Theodore "Beaver" Cleavers' school chum, multi-hyphenate actor/director/producer Tim Matheson was a regular on 3 TV western series. They were "The Virginian" (in 1969-70), "Bonanza" (1972-73) and "The Quest" (1976). Tim has fond memories of working on all of them and of getting paid to play cowboys, especially with Kurt Russell, his co-star from the exceptional series, "The Quest."
