Dr. Ani Kazanjian obtained her Bachelors in Nursing from Johns Hopkins University before serving in the Army as a trauma and perioperative nurse. Her experiences caring for patients motivated her to attend medical school and she recently graduated from Michigan State University College of Human Medicine. She also has a passion for public health and while in medical school she pursued an MPH at University of Michigan, with specializations in epidemiology and healthcare finance. She is currently a first year orthopedic surgery resident at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit, Michigan. When she’s not reducing fractures, she enjoys hot yoga, anything involving the great outdoors, and hanging out with her son, Sebastian, and their dog, Ginger.
