In this episode, I had the brilliant idea of spending the night right in the middle of an arid, uninhabited and generally quite hostile area (but absolutely stunning): the Makgadikgadi Salt Pans in Botswana. First night freezing in a tent that was way too small — but the view was worth it. Oh yes, very much so. I honestly felt like I was in Interstellar.
