After learning about different aspects of the theory on generating electricity from motion, now it is time for an excursion. We are visiting the Dirkshof (https://www.dirkshof.de/). The Dirkshof is a one-hour drive away from Kiel University at the shore of the North Sea in the German state of Schleswig-Holstein. It is one of the pioneers of community-owned wind parks and has 300 MW of installed power (Date of visit: 06.09.2024). Thanks to the Dirkshof team for hosting us!
