ECX RUCKUS 1/10 2WD BRUSHED TO BRUSHLESS CONVERSION

THE 15T Dynamite brushed motor has died. i am unsure why. so i remove this motor and the brushed ESC, and install some used electronics. a 17.5T sensored Muchmore Fleta and a 140A Speed Passion Reventon programmable ESC with reverse. The motor is slower but more efficient and has more torque. The ESC is completely overkill but its spare now that i dont race, and at least it has reverse. i have removed the fan because neither the ESC or the motor get hot. with a fully charged 2S battery the truck almost wheelies. unfortunately the ESC is not 3S capable. but i dont even own a 3s battery so it doesnt matter. im sure it would wheelie on 3S if i change the ESC and get a 3S battery. i also could install a 13.5T motor but i prefer the long run time. the truck is so much fun to drive. the ESC has issues. sometimes it reverses and sometimes it does not. but for bashing its fine. being sensored, it can take off quite slowly and doesnt cog like an unsensored brushless system. however it will never be as smooth as a brushed motor. they are insanely smooth and capable at low RPM. i am happy with the result. i could bash this truck every day on my lunch break. i will never buy WLToys again considering i could pick up a used ECX and heaps of spares for less money.
