25 Stamas Electronics Refit | In-depth Walkthrough

Join Certified Installation Technician Paul Long for a walkthrough of this Stamas we completely refit with all new electronics, lighting, and safety equipment. At the helm, we replaced the old display with a new, Garmin GPSMAP 8612 paired with a B60 transducer and a GMR Fantom 18 radar. The old autopilot unit was replaced with a Garmin Reactor 40 to tie in with the new Garmin screen. We relocated the original analog gauges and added a back-lit Boca Tech switch panel to add ease of use. Additionally, we relocated the VHF unit to the Eletronics box above the helm and replace the old antenna with a new 8’ Shakespeare Galaxy Antenna. We also added an ACR RCL-95 spotlight to the hardtop to give the owner greater peace of mind while running in the dark. To finish this install, we replaced all the old interior lighting with new LED spectrum lighting on the aft hardtop, under the gunnel, and above the helm. This install was great as it allowed the owner to continue to love and enjoy this boat with all of the modern technology that aids in ease of operation and peace of mind!
