Hundreds of protesters flood Seattle streets after killing of Alex Pretti by federal agents

Demonstrators gathered outside the Henry M. Jackson Federal Building, calling for accountability from immigration agents following the shooting of Pretti. Emotions ran high as participants expressed their anger and frustration. "I want to say we’re grieving, because we are, we’re grieving the loss of a human life, but I also want to say that we’re past grieving, that we’re angry – that we’re really, really angry, that we’re fed up," said one protester. City traffic cameras captured the scene, with some protesters estimating the crowd at around 500, while organizers claimed it was upwards of 1,000. The demonstration spilled into Madison Avenue, temporarily blocking traffic, as Seattle police assisted in managing the streets. Protesters decried what they see as an escalation of violence by federal agents against U.S. citizens.
