This is really just to advertise for my unofficial guide to the treasures you can find in Scenario 000, posted on the Dissidia Forums. Check it out if you want to know where to get rare equipment, tomes, exclusive weapon materials, and more! I'm still updating it, but I hope it'll be helpful to you! http://dissidiaforums.com/showthread.... Anyway, today I finally managed a perfect run against the final Feral Chaos boss fight at the end of Scenario 000. Didn't get hit by anything, and the actual fight lasted just under 5 minutes. Maybe I should have let it go longer, because the song is pretty good... Equipment: Air Anchor Chainsaw Super Ribbon Auto-Crossbow Accessories: Battle Hammer Sniper Eye Bravery Orb Side By Side HP = 100% Large Gap in HP Brv = 0 No Damage Empty EX Gauge Pre-EX Mode I know my boosters could have been better if I used something like Level Gap, but this is the setup I use for all enemies, and I just couldn't be bothered to change it up just for Feral Chaos. Also, I forgot to equip a summon. Silly me. Battle Hammer is crucial for this fight. In my experience, Feral Chaos's attacks are pretty easy to dodge, but what complicates things is when he uses his Garland assist to corner you. Battle Hammer grants you an Assist Depletion effect, preventing him from using his assists. Rest of the setup is geared towards doing as much damage as I can. Bravery Orb speeds up my brv recovery tremendously, and Sniper Eye plus all those multipliers leads to powerful wall rushes. The fight is very long, so raising my wall rush damage from 25% to close to 60% will speed things along quite well. Finally, Side By Side grants an enormous boost to your assist gauge whenever you land an HP attack, but you give up your EX guage in exchange. To be honest, I was really hoping for Kuja as an assist for this fight, but the assist you get for the battle seems to be somewhat random. Jecht is a great assist, don't get me wrong, but I'm just used to using Kuja. The timing on Jecht's combo took a bit for me to get used to. I'm also taking a big gamble with the new Fragile Pride ability, which costs 50CP when mastered and jacks up your critical hit rate so long as you do not get hit at all. But hey, since I was aiming for a perfect run, it works great, right? I used mostly Machine gear for its large brv, physical attack, and wall rush boosts. Its major HP drawbacks don't matter to me, since I usually focus on avoiding the AI's attacks anyway (I prefer glass cannon builds when not fighting human opponents). Besides, Feral Chaos himself is sort of a glass cannon: he's got lower defense than you'd expect, making him easy to break.
