ESP LTD D-4 Bass Review

Here's my review of my new bass! It's an ESP LTD D-4. Playing starts at 5:30. I currently own a really cheap Dean bass, which I bought a long time ago and at the time, I was looking for something extremely cheap just to do some home recording. I've been wanting to improve my bass playing and I just felt like the Dean bass was kind of limiting, and it felt cheap. So I decided to upgrade! Please note, I'm not primarily a bassist, I am a guitarist. I don't own a bass amp, since I just record direct. I don't know how to play with my fingers so I use a pick. Recording information signal chain: -Focusrite 2i4 -Logic Pro X -EZMix, Modern Metal expansion pack, 'Bass - Clean' preset -No other processing other than a bit of limiting/noise gate Features: -Neck through construction -Active ESP designed pickups, active high/mid/low EQ -Bridge goes through body -24 extra jumbo frets -Mahogany body, 5pc mahogany and maple neck, roasted jatoba fretboard -Grover tuners -Chrome hardware -Very beautiful and smooth natural satin matte finish The specifications are slightly different than listed on the site because apparently this is the second generation version of this instrument, and they've made some small changes. https://www.espguitars.com/products/9...
