In this video, I will unbox and review GOVEE RGB LED strip lights. I always wanted a nice background lighting behind my office setup and I have used some basic LED lights before. But, there is always a problem with the adhesive. Then, I found these GOVEE lights and I can’t ask for more. The first thing that caught my attention was the easy setup. In less than 10 minutes, I was able to set the lights and also operate them. I have a wooden frame behind my laptop and the lights just stick perfectly to it. The package comes with an in-line controller with 3 buttons on it to turn the lights ON/OFF, adjusting the brightness and changing the colors. These colors are vibrant and are easy to customize. I could easily adjust the brightness from warm to cool light. You can even operate these lights through “Govee Home app” with just a simple Wi-Fi connection. The lights also worked great with Alexa and Google Assistant voice control. I could easily change the brightness and turn the lights off or on with voice commands. An interesting feature I found out is the “music mode”. With the built-in microphone, it can pick up music even in its lowest sound. The color mode, scenes mode are all amazing which instantly change the ambience of your room. The only drawback I found is that I could not access the color modes and scene modes through Alexa. Overall, the lights are worth my investment and I believe they are going to last for years.
