Yakushima is the first place in Japan to be designated as a UNESCO World Natural Heritage site. With moss-covered forests, ancient cedar trees that have stood for thousands of years, and waterfalls echoing through the silence— being there felt like stepping into the world of Princess Mononoke. During our trip, we hiked through Yakusugi Land with our baby Elijah and visited the sacred Buddha Sugi tree. We also watched a breathtaking sunset at Inakahama Beach—moments we'll never forget. From the soothing sound of Edelweiss playing across the island in the morning, to discovering beautiful handcrafted goods made from fallen cedar trees, this journey reminded us of the warmth of nature and the kindness of the people. 🎌 Let’s Discover the Beauty of Japan Together!
