The Jedi must have sent out our resume/CV to at least 60 media companies with out unique style of broadcast journalism: music entertainment. The Jedi sent our demo reel to Warner, Apple, CNN, NY TIMES, Bloomberg, HBO, to name a few— and those are just the big names. You would be surprised at the list of requirements (aka restrictions) these media companies mandate to hire a creative person. They even mandate which tools the Jedi must use to create art for them. Do they want to pick the brand of paint brush for us too? It’s no wonder everything on Apple TV & HBO sucks after 3 episodes. Restrictions do not attract creative people: restrictions attract rule followers.l Order takers. Perfect credit scores. No criminal history. They are perfect for a bank but are they perfect for coming up with creative fresh new concepts never heard of before? No. You have hired nothing but followed. These organization have no creative people to take their ideas to the next level. They only have “ground level” artists because their gate keepers are not creative people. They don’t understand us. They don’t like us. And they don’t want us.
