In part, this conversation was sparked by an editorial written by USF Assistant Professor, Dr. Jonathan Bethard and Binghamton University Associate Professor, Dr. Elizabeth A. DiGangi. For recent descriptions of these debates in forensic anthropology, please see the following three publications which are responses between these two scholars and some of their peers: 1.
