In "I Never Expected To See My 19th Birthday, Battle For Hue, Vietnam War," it's the second day of the Battle for Hue and it's quickly becoming clear to many of the Marines on the ground that this fight is different than anything they experienced prior to this. This battle is remembered as one of the bloodiest and arguably the pivotal fight of the 10 year war in Vietnam. The U.S. Forces in Hue on day two have lost dozens of Marines and Navy corpsmen who've been killed or wounded in the fight, they are clearly out numbered, they haven't been trained for urban environments, the rules of engagement in the battle are different than anything they've seen before, they continue being sent out on missions that are deadly and appear to be impossible, and the officers know that their command does not understand the situation on the ground in Hue.
