Abu Bakr Ar-Razi, also known by the Latin name Rhazes, was the greatest Muslim physician and a professor in the field of medicine for both the Islamic world and Europe. He was also renowned as a philosopher and chemist, making significant contributions to the development of chemistry after the foundational work laid out by Jabir bin Hayyan. Ar-Razi successfully made various modern chemical discoveries based on his extensive research and experiments. Name and Nickname: Abu Bakr Muhammad bin Zakariya Ar-Razi was commonly referred to as Ar-Razi, with his name translated into Latin as Rhazes. While some Arab literature omitted his nickname, such as the title "Galenus Arab" used by Ibn Abi Ashabi'ah in his work "Uyunu Al Anba' fi Thabaqati Al-Athibba'i," European writers also referred to him as "Boyle Persia," drawing a parallel with the English physicist and chemist Robert Boyle. Birthplace, Date of Birth, and Biography: Ar-Razi was born in the province of Rayy, Iran, in the year 240 Hijri (854 CE). Although little is known about his childhood, Ar-Razi studied the fundamentals of philosophy and medicine before moving to Baghdad to continue his education. In Baghdad, he became a prominent figure among his contemporaries. There is some disagreement about the year of his death. According to Ibn Katsir in "Al-Bidayah," Ar-Razi passed away in the year 311 Hijri (923 CE). Some sources add that he died one or two years afterward, while others mention the year 364 Hijri as the year of his demise. Despite the uncertainty surrounding the year of his death, his legacy in the fields of medicine and chemistry continued to be respected and acknowledged until the early 18th century CE. #moeslem_doctor #abu_bakar_arrazi #islamic_scientists, #islamic_scientists_and_their_inventions, #islamic_scientists_golden_age, #history_of_islamic_scientists, #ancient_islamic_scientists, #famous_islamic_scientists, #greatest_islamic_scientists, #movies_on_islamic_scientists, #history_islamic_movies, #history_islamic, #hystory #history_islam_documentary, #history_islam_map, #history_islamic_empire, #history_islam_movie, #history_islam_short, #history_islam_in_Iran, #history_islamic_wars, #history_islam_channel, #islamic_background_video, #islamic_background, #islamic, #islamic_center, #islamic_status, #islamic_lifestyle, #islamic_life, #islamic_videos, #Islamic history, #islamic_brotherhood,
