Precision Rifle Dry Fire Indoor Training Drill: "Barricades" Remington PCR 6.5 Creedmoor. This video builds on the previous precision rifle fundamentals and dry fire indoor training drill, and adds some shooting tips, barricade practice and transitioning between bipod and barricade bag into the mix. For this drill you will need a rifle (cleared), an empty magazine, a barricade bag, and a couple fo dining chairs - cat not included ;). Practising precision rifle shooting techniques and is great firearms training for beginners, especially if you can find the time to do rifle practice at home. 🔱 Subscribe to this channel and turn the notification bell 🔔 turned on! I have placed a 1" circle sticker, with a red .5" middle, on the wall at the bottom of my garden to use as a target/point of reference. you can use a post-it note with a dot or a mark as long as you have something you can focus on keeping your reticule on. Place one chair to the side, then lay another chair on its side behind it. that way you will have created 3 levels from which to shoot from - floor, side of chair and back of the chair. If like my chairs, your barricade is a bit wobbly then all the better :) What to focus on? During the drill you should focus on body position (square behind your rifle), natural sight alignment, shot release (without disturbing the reticule), manipulating the bolt (trying to keep the reticule on the target during the action - harder than it sounds...). The Drill: Stage 1. 5 rounds prone. Stage 2. 5 rounds chairside. Stage 3. 5 rounds chair back. Stage 4. 5 rounds prone, 5 rounds chairside, 5 rounds chair back. Stage 5. 5 rounds prone, 5 rounds chairside, 5 rounds chair back, 5 rounds chairside,5 rounds prone.
