Several weeks ago, I bought a 1970s pearl fiberglass kit that came with a 12 inch and an 18 inch Tom. I was wanting to bridge the gap between the sizes and I found a 1970s 15“ x 10“ Slingerland maple over mahogany Tom and I’m telling you what it beautifully and perfectly matches the sound of the rest of the kit it literally sounds exactly like the 18 inch and now I can fill the gap pitch wise when using three toms. 🙌🏼🎉 the fundamental pitch of the Tom‘s are relatively low so make sure you put on a pair of headphones to truly appreciate the low end of these toms 💪🏼 Nice and round!
