Footage was shot early March of 2025. I've been coming to this park since I was a little kid: Montaña de Oro state park just outside Los Osos, CA. One of the most beautiful little nooks on the California Central Coast. Early Spring is my favorite time to visit because the weather is perfect (for me) and just a little too chilly for the tourists to be showing up. You basically have the park to yourself on the right days. This day couldn't have been much more spectacular: the sun was shining with very little cloud cover, a little morning mist slowly burning off, the waves were crashing, and the colors were popping off. Wildflowers, native grasses, emerald waves, seafoam green pools, and deep blue water out on the horizon. Graced with turkey friends, pelican flyovers, and a few hawks and vultures patrolling the skies. Barely anyone on the Bluff Trail save for a few locals in sweaters and jackets.
