I decided to film a short video about Tour A — the most popular one: what’s included, the route, and a few things you might not know before booking. In this video we’re sharing our El Nido Island Hopping Tour A experience — a full, practical walkthrough of how these tours work and what the day actually feels like. We did Tour A in late September (still surprisingly busy), starting from El Nido Main Beach, but the first thing to know is that tours can be canceled due to weather — ours were canceled on one day, and the next day ended with rain. Tours run roughly 9:00 AM–4:00 PM, last about 7 hours, and typical group size is around 24 people. The price is about ₱1,000 (~$18) plus an ₱400 Eco-Tourism Development Fee (valid for 10 days). You don’t need to know how to swim — you’ll wear a life jacket, and you’ll have optional kayaking and snorkeling gear (or you can simply stay on the boat). Lunch is included and cooked on the spot with grilled meat/seafood, rice, and fruit. Our stops included Seven Commanders Beach (crystal-clear, shallow water and very photogenic but crowded), Big Lagoon (kayaking between limestone cliffs and caves), a lunch/snorkeling stop, and a final small lagoon where the weather turned. Despite the crowds and the rain at the end, Tour A was one of our highlights in Palawan — just make sure to watch the forecast and plan at least one full day in El Nido.
