COURSE DESCRIPTION: The course starts and finishes on Exeter Quay near the marina/boat yard on the south bank of the river Exe. The course is predominantly an out and back flat one; from the start it heads south east through the River Valley Park crossing a bridge into Duckes Meadow then turning right following the south bank of the Exe until entering the University playing fields for a partial lap of the perimeter before re-joining the footpath at Duckes Meadow to head back to the finish. Unfortunately, due to University rules, dogs are not allowed to take part at this event.
