I never seem to get sleep systems quite dialed in? Always a compromise between weight, compactability, price, etc. The travelpak 4 has much better temp rating, does not cost much more but is bigger and about 4 pounds. For some reason? I've never embraced quilts. I'm missing something- oh well. So, I'm set up for the central California Coast. Fairly lightweight: Warm Summers to about Freezing Winters and Rainy periods- with more on the way. Bivvy Sack is mandatory, then just layer with whatever? It's very versatile. At this point I could do without The Kelty Cosmo 20 . I've got too much crap! wear it out, give it away whatever. Through hikers whatever, it's a different enchilada.
