Advanced DCC Installation Part 3 of 3 - Athearn Bombardier Cab Car with ESU LokSound

It's August and I'm doing a walkthrough of installing DCC sound and lights into an Athearn Bombardier cab car as I promised. This is part three where I fit the LEDs into the shell of the cab car and put it back together. I am using a 21pin MTC ESU LokSound Select but you may use any other decoder of your choice, sound or no sound, as long as your decoder has at least 4 function outputs (headlight, marker lights, ditch lights x2). If you are adding interior lights then you need a decoder with at least 5 functions. I opted not to install interior lights because I am matching it to all my other GO passenger cars will not have interior lighting. Decoder options that you can consider: ESU LokSound Select - US$80, 6 functions with effects, superb and accurate sound, wide selection of horns, 21pin MTC or hardwire. ESU LokSound V4 - US$100, 4 functions with effects, superb and accurate sound plus you can make custom sounds (station announcements, door chimes, etc), 21pin MTC or hardwire. Soundtraxx Tsunami Soundcar - US$45, 4 lighting functions with effects, no motor control, excellent sounds, horn selection is limited, hardwire. Train Control Systems FL4 - US$25, 4 lighting functions with effects, function only decoder (no motor or sound), hardwire.
