Mary was born in 1920, her farther was from Belgium and a war veteran and her mother was from france. Mary’s parents at one point owned a hotel that was near to a farm. Mary would help her parents out at the hotel when she could. In 1945 Marie married a police patrolman from Belgium named Thomas. Mary is known for all her hard work in helping to escort allied airmen out of German - occupied france and Belgium during World War II. In 1977 Marie and Thomas left her parents bungalow and there is no trace of what or where they went since. The jackets still hang around the chairs at the table today, did they belong to her farther or all the soilders she helped during the war…. The story remains unclear.
